MURL Wins Award

May 31, 2009 (2 Comments)

Congratulations! Your entry has been selected for presentation at the
“Best Practices in Teaching of Diversity Competition”
session at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication annual convention in Boston.

I am happy for you because I know how much effort you put into your
entry. The AEJMC Teaching Committee’s panel of judges was impressed with
your work.

We received some excellent entries. That made it difficult for the
judges to decide the winning entries.

    Congratulations!

I was part of the inaugural MURL team with Professor Tom Petner in 2005.

The students in the MURL program and the faculty guiding it perform a great service to the community. Pariticpating in MURL was the most rewarding educational experience during my undergraduate career at Temple.

    Wishing you much continued success!
