The School of Communications and Theater offers study away opportunities in London, New York City, Dublin, Montreal, Los Angeles and South Africa which provide enriched academics as well as valuable work experience. Gain a new perspective on your academic studies, experience a different culture and develop skills to give you an edge in today’s competitive environment. Study Away opportunities are available for both undergraduate and graduate students from all universities and all disciplines. Read more.
Internships
The FMA Internship Program provides students with a bridge across the precarious gap between studying media arts as a student and working in media arts fields as a professional, by providing hands-on opportunities in the craft, creative voice and entertainment businesses. The program allows juniors and seniors in good academic standing to receive a maximum of four academic credits gaining introductory experience in the film and new media marketplace. The program helps students identify both short and long-term career goals and career-launching skills for competitively packaging their industry experiences for future employment upon graduation.
